Platinised Titanium Anodes from Elade in water treatment field
Platinum is one of the noble group of metals and also precious metals, all of which are excellent catalyst materials. Platinum is conductive, chemically stable and highly resistant to oxidation and corrosion. It has a silvery-gray color and can be polished to a variety of finishes.
Platinum is an excellent anode material due to its high conductivity and low consumption rate. Platinised titanium anodes consist of a titanium base, in the form of either expanded metal, sheet, rod, wire or tube with a thin coating of platinum between 1 to 12 microns thick. They posses the electrochemical properties of platinum. The titanium used is Grade1 or Grade2 pure titanium as established by ASTM standard.
Platinised titanium anodes are of these characters:
Long operating life;
High dimensional stability and load resistance;
Good current distribution, High corrosion resistance.
The platinised titanium anodes products series are: platinized titanium mesh, platinized titanium plate, platinized titanium rod.
Therefore, it can be use for below fields: cathodic protection, water treatment, electroplating, electrowinning and so on.
